Ingredients

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • inches turmeric root
  • inches ginger root peeled
  • 12 ounces water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 tbsp honey use monk fruit if you are vegan
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

Instructions

  • Peel and cut the piece of ginger and turmeric roots into slices. Put the water in a medium kettle and add the ground turmeric, turmeric root, and ginger root.

  • Bring to a simmer, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.

  • Strain the tea and add the honey or sweetener of your choice.
