  2. Bring the tea kettle to a boil,  reduce the heat and simmer for 12 minutes. 
  3. Remove from the heat and add the two tea bags.  Let the tea steep for 8 minutes. 
  4. Remove the tea bags and strain out the pieces of ginger and turmeric root. 
  5. Add the honey or sweetener of your choice.   
  6. Let the tea cool to 60 degrees F.   You want to let the tea cool to 60 degrees or below because the Vitamin C is destroyed by temperatures above 60 degrees F.   
  7. Add the orange juice and feel better as you sip the tea.

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • inches turmeric root
  • inches ginger root peeled
  • 12 ounces water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 tbsp honey use monk fruit if you are vegan
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

Instructions

  • Peel and cut the piece of ginger and turmeric roots into slices. Put the water in a medium kettle and add the ground turmeric, turmeric root, and ginger root.

  • Bring to a simmer, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.

  • Strain the tea and add the honey or sweetener of your choice.
