What Is A Bobbie?
A Bobbie Sandwich is a sandwich with lettuce, roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing in a roll. Thanksgiving is over, and now you have a refrigerator full of leftovers. Your guests (if you have some), and your family, will soon be looking for something to eat for lunch or for an afternoon snack. A Bobbie sandwich is the perfect answer to providing a delicious meal/snack and using up the leftovers from the Thanksgiving feast.
How Do I Make A Bobbie?
A Bobbie Sandwich is easy once you have all the ingredients. The day after Thanksgiving may be the only day of the year that your fridge will be overflowing with the makings of a great Bobbie.
The Bread: The bread can be any bread you have handy. Usually, it is the rolls leftover from Thanksgiving. However, my favorite is my homemade Baguette or a couple of slices of my homemade Sourdough Bread.
The Filling: The Bobbie Sandwich is stuffed with mayo, lettuce (optional), cranberry sauce, stuffing, and turkey. The order doesn’t matter. The challenge will be getting it to all stay in the sandwich when you take the first bite.
Assembly: Cut the bread (roll, baguette) in half and spread each side with mayonnaise. Next, add the lettuce, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Top with the other half of the roll. Serve with some leftover side dishes and pie for dessert. If you are feeling guilty about all the food you ate for Thanksgiving dinner, than skip the sides and pie. The Bobbie Sandwich is a meal by itself.

- 1 6-inch baguette
- 3 ounces turkey breast roasted
- ¼ cup cranberry sauce
- ¼ cup stuffing
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
- 1 piece lettuce iceberg or romaine
- Slice the baguette in half. Spread both halves with the mayonnaise. Add the turkey cranberry sauce, and stuffing to one half of the baguette. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with the lettuce and the other half of the baguette. Eat immediately.
